Dr. Rotella is a licensed Chiropractor, licensed Acupuncturist and certified Chinese Herbalist. In Pennsylvania, she is also a licensed Practitioner of Oriental Medicine, (P.OM.). This license goes a step above a traditional L.Ac. license and allows her to prescribe Chinese herbal remedies. She is also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as an Oriental Medicine practitioner (Dipl. OM.), this includes Diplomat status as an acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist.
Dr. Rotella strongly believes in the importance of balancing the body to achieve optimal health. This is a philosophy that is at the root of both the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chiropractic fields Her determination in finding balanced approaches to health care, led her to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College, and her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from The New York College of Health Professions. This was done to provide her patients with the best of both Eastern and Western philosophies.
Both Chinese Medicine and Chiropractic stem from the belief that the path to a healthier life can be obtained when people are balanced and are in harmony with nature. The focus of Dr. Rotella’s integration of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Nutrition, and Chiropractic care is to assist her patients in finding their own ultimate balance. |
